No docks, no problem.
Soggy Dollar is an establishment that issues a warning in its name long before you arrive. By the time you reach the bar, your money will be mush. Coming over by boat leaves one anchored offshore without a dock in sight. Left with no other alternative, the only option is to swim or wade your way to dry land. This little tidbit isn’t cause for alarm, though; it’s half the fun of getting there! The other half is the conch fritters and painkillers, a mind-numbing mixture of Caribbean rum and coconut cream. Boasting the most blinding white sand we’d ever stepped foot on, we were not surprised that it was the busiest island attraction visited so far. The crowd here is a welcome change for those wanting to add a dash of day drinking to a relaxing getaway. Boats filled with carefree parties blast music for those on shore, while patrons lounged and took in the view from the powdered cove of Jost.
