The Holy Grail of Hikes in Croatia.
After we’d eaten our fill, we headed down the Dalmatian Coast to Zadar. There we were met with two choices – to decide between sixteen lakes connected by crystal clear waterfalls or one majestic cascade that’s completely frolic friendly. Such is the dilemma of choosing either Plitvice Lakes or Krka. Each national park is bestowed with the kind of scenic beauty that leaves a lasting impression and allows for unique experiences depending on where you visit. Obviously, we’re incapable of making hard decisions such as this so we visited both. Plitvice Lakes was our favorite of the national parks, with overgrown paths and rickety wooden bridges, it transports visitors from the mundane mediocrity of modern day hustle and bustle to a simpler time when mother nature roamed freely.
