Day Trippin’ | Sandy Spit, British Virgin Islands | Travelspective

A secluded ocean hideout.

A tiny, uninhabited islet set in the middle of the warm Caribbean ocean, Sandy Spit in the British Virgin Islands is small, less than a full acre, and is a beachfront ring wrapped around light foliage. It’s well known but deserted for most of the day. The open ocean seen from wherever you stand on the island swallows your subconscious and plants you firmly in the belief that you’re the last person on Earth.
